Chambhar Leni, also called Chamarleni or Gajpanth, is a Jain cave and pilgrimage site on a hill north of Nashik. The climb is part of the visit, with steps leading up to a quiet religious complex above the city edge.
It is less famous than the Trirashmi Caves, but that is part of its appeal. Go for the hilltop setting, devotional atmosphere, and a look at Nashik's Jain heritage; start early in hot weather and carry water for the ascent.
