A two-room shophouse warung near Pasar Baru, doing the classic Sundanese spread for decades. The signature is the karedok — raw vegetables (cucumber, long beans, bean sprouts, basil leaves, eggplant) dressed in a roughly pounded peanut and palm-sugar sauce — but the nasi timbel komplit is the order to ask for: banana-leaf-wrapped rice, grilled chicken, fried tempeh and tofu, the karedok, and the obligatory sambal terasi.
No frills, plastic tablecloths, full of office workers at lunch. Closed on Sundays.
