A 15-hectare landscaped restaurant and family park about 25km north of central Bandung, deep in the Cisarua forest. The site is built almost entirely from local bamboo: pavilions, pathways, restaurants and a family kids' play area. The main dining hall serves Sundanese food in private bamboo bird-nest enclosures on the side of a small lake.
The food is acceptable, the setting is the real draw — particularly in the late afternoon when the temperature drops and mist starts to roll in from the surrounding hills. Reservations strongly recommended at weekends.
