Kopi Armor began as a hut at the edge of the Babakan Siliwangi forest reserve on the north side of the ITB campus, serving single-origin coffees from the West Java highland farms above the city. The setting — wooden benches under the trees, motorbike-only access, the smell of woodsmoke — is half the appeal.
The bean list rotates: Java Preanger, Garut, Pangalengan, Ciwidey. Brewing is straightforward (V60, French press, occasional espresso). Snacks are simple: fried banana, pisang Bandung. A favourite of ITB students and the cycling crowd that comes up early in the morning. Cash only.
