A Bandung institution for Sundanese food, with several branches around the city. The Jalan Riau branch is the most convenient for visitors. The format is classic nasi Sunda: you choose from a spread of dishes displayed in front of you, the whole thing served on a banana leaf with hot tea. The ayam bakar (grilled chicken), karedok (raw vegetable salad with peanut sauce), and pepes ikan (spiced fish steamed in banana leaf) are consistently good. Inexpensive and always full of locals.
