The Mausoleum of Yahya Abu al-Qasim stood on the right bank of the Tigris and was known for its conical dome, decorative brickwork, and calligraphy carved in Mosul blue marble.
The 13th-century monument was largely destroyed by ISIS in 2014. It remains a meaningful stop for visitors tracing Mosul's medieval religious architecture and the city's damaged historic fabric.
