Ghetto Fighters House Museum

Ghetto Fighters House Museum stands at Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta'ot, just north of Acre. The kibbutz was founded by Holocaust survivors, Jewish partisans, and veterans of the ghetto uprisings, and the museum grew out of that direct memory.

The exhibitions focus on Jewish resistance, life under Nazi occupation, and the aftermath of the Holocaust. It is a serious, emotionally heavy visit, but an important one if you are using Acre as a base for the northern coast.
