The M&Y Museum of Art focuses on two artists with ties to the Tsuyama area: printmaker Munakata Shiko and poet Yanai Michihiro. Munakata, better known nationally for his bold woodblock prints, visited Tsuyama often and is well represented here.
It is a small, specialist museum, worth considering if you have already seen Tsuyama's castle park and old streets and want a quieter art stop.
