Yoshikien Garden is a quiet traditional garden beside Isui-en, close to the Nara National Museum and Todai-ji approach. Its ponds, moss garden, and tea-house views make it a good pause between Nara Park's busier temple stops.
The garden is compact, so it does not need a long visit. It is best treated as a calm half-hour detour, especially if you are already walking between the museum district and the older temple lanes.
