A long covered shopping arcade running south from Tamamo-koen through the centre of the city, claimed locally to be the longest such arcade in Japan at about 2.7 kilometres if you include the linked side arcades. The northern section was rebuilt with a high glass dome in the 2000s; the southern stretches are older and more characterful.
Most of the chains you would expect are here, alongside long-standing local shops selling Kagawa lacquerware, sake, and the prefecture's famous sanuki udon supplies. A good evening walk after dinner; many of the food shops in the side streets stay open late.
