Takamatsu's sightseeing is concentrated around its two main parks. Ritsurin-koen, on the southern edge of the city, is the main draw and can fill a half-day on its own. Tamamo-koen and the history museum are within easy walking distance of the station. The Seto Inland Sea islands — Naoshima in particular — are a short ferry ride away and make excellent day trips.
