Bourj al Hamam is a long-standing classic for traditional Lebanese cuisine, with a branch overlooking Zaitunay Bay. The mezze run long — hummus with sliced lamb, tabbouleh, baba ghanoush, kibbeh — followed by exceptional charcoal-grilled meats and fish.
It is more formal than the Gemmayzeh restaurants and the cooking is reliably old-school. The terrace overlooking the marina is the table to ask for. Bookings advised at weekends.
