Saifi Village is a small, planned residential quarter between downtown and Gemmayzeh, built by Solidere in pastel-coloured Ottoman-inspired buildings. It feels deliberately picturesque — almost too neat — but the central Quartier des Arts is full of small galleries, designer boutiques, and quiet courtyard cafes.
The area was badly damaged in the 2020 port explosion (it sits about a kilometre from ground zero) and is still recovering. It rewards an aimless wander rather than a focused visit. Combine with a walk along the cobbled streets of nearby Gemmayzeh.
