A small open-air museum just north of Banaue town with traditional Ifugao thatched houses, woodcarvings, and rice-storage huts (alang). The houses are full-scale and you can climb inside; staff in traditional dress explain how families live, how rice is stored, and how the bulul (rice god) carvings are made. It is touristy in places but the carvings are real and the explanations are useful background before heading out to Batad.
Allow about an hour. The site is on the road to the main viewpoint so it pairs naturally with that stop. A modest entry fee applies.
