Mount Amuyao is a 2,702-metre peak on the boundary of Banaue, Mayoyao, and Mountain Province. It is one of the highest mountains in Luzon, and its summit can open views toward the Cordillera and the plains of Isabela.
The climb is a serious hiking objective rather than a casual viewpoint. For travellers already focused on the Ifugao rice-terrace country, it adds a harder mountain route with strong local legend attached to the summit.
