The Taiwan Design Museum occupies a long brick warehouse inside the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park — the former Songshan Tobacco Factory — and is the country's main showcase for industrial, graphic and craft design. The permanent and visiting exhibitions cover everything from Taiwanese product design and branding to the Golden Pin design awards.
It sits within easy reach of the rest of the cultural park's galleries, design shops and the landmark Eslite Spectrum store, making the whole complex an easy half-day for anyone interested in design. Run by the Taiwan Design Research Institute.
