A short walk from Bayramyeri Square, this ethnography museum occupies a converted residential building dedicated to the memory of Atatürk's visit to Denizli in 1930. The upstairs rooms are a reconstructed late-Ottoman household with carpets, copperware, and embroidered linens; the ground floor displays local Aegean costumes, agricultural tools, and the kind of brightly woven kilims that Denizli's villages still produce.
It is modest by Istanbul standards but a quick way to fill an hour before heading out to the ruins, and the price of entry is symbolic. Closed Mondays.
