The Clock Tower stands at the seafront end of Atatürk Boulevard, just south of the cruise port. It is a stone-and-tile tower built in the early twentieth century in the Ottoman provincial style; the four faces of the clock above are still wound by hand.
It is a small monument rather than a major sight, but it serves as the natural landmark for finding your way back to the port and as a meeting point for tour groups. The square at its foot is one of the busier spots in town in cruise season.
