Long Beach (Uzun Plaj) runs for several kilometres south of Kuşadası between Kadınlar Denizi and the entrance to the Dilek Peninsula National Park. It is the city's main sandy beach: fine yellow sand, gentle slope, calm water in summer. The northern end is closer to town and busier; the southern end thins out into less developed sections.
Several beach clubs operate stretches of the sand and rent sunbeds; the public sections are smaller but free. The hotel strip behind the beach is dense and not particularly attractive, so for a memorable beach day many visitors press on to the wilder coves inside Dilek Peninsula National Park.
