A 100-hectare nipa palm forest in Cam Thanh commune, about 4 km east of the Old Town. The main activity is a basket-boat ride through the narrow waterways — small round coracle-style boats piloted by locals who spin and dip them with surprising agility. The forest itself is a genuine wetland ecosystem, home to birds, fish, and crabs. This has become popular with tour groups, so mornings are busiest; late afternoon is quieter and the light is better.
