Hoi An's Old Town is compact enough to explore on foot. The main sights are clustered around Tran Phu Street and the waterfront, and most are included in a combined entry ticket. Beyond the town, bicycle rides through the surrounding villages and a half-day trip to the Cham ruins at My Son make for good day outings.
