Hội An sits a few kilometres inland, but two beaches are within easy reach by bicycle or motorbike. An Bàng is the better option: less eroded than Cửa Đại and with a more relaxed atmosphere. Both are best visited outside peak season — the sea is rough and currents can be dangerous from October to March.
