Aussie World is a compact family amusement park just off the Bruce Highway, inland from the Sunshine Coast beaches. It offers rides, sideshow-style attractions, food outlets, and enough all-ages entertainment to make it a practical break from beach days, especially for families travelling by car.
It is not trying to compete with the Gold Coast's giant theme parks, and that smaller scale is part of the point. For Sunshine Coast visitors it works as a straightforward half-day outing, easy to combine with the Glass House Mountains side of the region or a wet-weather change of plan.
