Things to Do

Broome sits on the edge of the Kimberley, one of the most remote and spectacular regions of Australia, and the town punches well above its weight for things to see and do. The three centrepieces are Cable Beach, the dinosaur footprints at Gantheaume Point, and the Staircase to the Moon — but the town also has real depth in its pearling history and its unique multicultural character. The surrounding wilderness is accessible on day trips for those with their own transport.
