The big Art Deco government complex on the corner of Victoria Parade and Gladstone Road, finished in 1939 as the seat of the colonial administration. It still houses the Prime Minister's office, the High Court, and several ministries.
The building is best seen from across Albert Park, where the long pale facade and the clock tower line up properly. There is no general public access, but you can walk freely around the perimeter and into the entrance hall at the front during business hours.
