Pah Homestead is a late-19th-century mansion set in Monte Cecilia Park, now used as an art gallery. The building was constructed in 1877-79 and still has the scale and setting of a grand suburban estate.
The gallery shows a substantial collection of New Zealand art, with the parkland around it adding space for a quiet walk before or after the exhibitions. It is a good choice if you want an Auckland art stop away from the central city crowds.
