At 328 metres, the Sky Tower is the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere — you can see it from almost anywhere in Auckland, and from the observation decks you can see from the Hauraki Gulf islands to the Waitakere Ranges. Take the lift to the Sky Deck for the highest open-air platform, or look straight down through the glass floor panels on the Main Observation Level.
Admission: adults NZ$36, children (under 15) NZ$15. The tower is also the base for SkyJump — a 192-metre controlled descent down the outside of the building for those who want something more than a view.
