The Kunst Haus Wien is the permanent museum of Friedensreich Hundertwasser's paintings, prints, and projects, housed in a former Thonet bentwood furniture factory that Hundertwasser himself redesigned in his characteristic anti-rectilinear style. Uneven floors, organic forms, and trees growing from balconies extend his architectural argument to a smaller scale than the Hundertwasserhaus next door.
The upper floors host temporary photography exhibitions; the ground-floor café opens onto a small plant-filled courtyard. Open daily; entry around 12 euros.
