Baška's pleasures are simple: the long pebble beach, the walks along the karst hills above town, and an outsized cultural footprint thanks to the Baška Tablet found in nearby Jurandvor. The town itself is small — a tangle of stone houses behind the seafront — so most of the interest lies on the edges, where the bay opens out and the trails climb into the bare limestone above.
