One of the more distinctive medieval buildings in Poreč's old town, the House of Two Saints takes its name from the two stone relief figures carved into the facade flanking an upper-floor window. The reliefs are worn but still legible — a rare piece of Romanesque decorative sculpture surviving in situ.
The ground floor is defined by a large stone arch, typical of the period and purpose. The building dates from the 14th or 15th century and sits within easy walking distance of the Euphrasian Basilica. It doesn't open to the public, but the facade is the point — a quiet piece of medieval Poreč that most visitors walk past without looking up.
