In the park west of Marafor Square, only fragments of this classical Roman temple dedicated to the god of the sea remain. Together with the nearby Temple of Mars, these ruins are a reminder that Porec was an important Roman town -- Colonia Iulia Parentium -- long before the basilica was built.
