The Kanal sv. Ante Trail follows the St Anthony Channel, linking Šibenik with coastal viewpoints, pine scrub, and approaches toward the fortress landscape at the harbour entrance. It is one of the best ways to turn the city's dramatic maritime setting into an actual walk or ride.
The route is especially appealing in the cooler parts of the day, when the light opens views across the channel and islands. Bring water and sun protection, and allow enough time to stop rather than treating it as a transit path.
