The Muzej Mamurluka is a small, very Zagreb concept: a one-room museum whose exhibits are objects and stories donated by people remembering — sometimes vaguely — the night and the consequences of a serious hangover. Lost shoes, mysterious bruises, jokes-gone-wrong, sworn-off bottles. There is a drunk-driving simulator (you wear vision-distorting goggles), and the descriptions are in English as well as Croatian.
The humour is broad but the museum is more thoughtful than it sounds — it works as a study of why we drink, what we lose, and the way memory dissolves. Allow half an hour. Tucked off Tkalčićeva Street, around the corner from Café Cica.
