A small museum that reconstructs a typical 1980s Yugoslav apartment: living room with chunky brown furniture and a tube TV showing period programmes, kitchen with original packaging on the shelves, a child's bedroom with cassette tapes and posters. Everything is hands-on — you can sit on the sofas, dial the rotary phone, flip through the magazines, play the games.
For Croatians it functions partly as a melancholic exercise in remembering a vanished country; for visitors, it is a vivid and unexpectedly intimate window into late socialist daily life. Allow about an hour. Combine with the Museum of Broken Relationships nearby; the same self-aware Zagreb humour runs through both.
