The drinking story in Ostrava begins and largely ends on Stodolní Street, the nightlife strip with 60-plus bars on a single short stretch. Outside Stodolní, the bar scene is more scattered but no less interesting.
Plan B is a small live-music venue that doubles as a bar; Pravda and Atlantik Café are good central spots for a quieter drink. The Stará Aréna is a craft beer pub in a former industrial space, with a rotating tap list that often includes Czech micro-breweries you can't find elsewhere. For coffee during the day, Maryčka in the Old Town and Bistro 33 are the standouts.
