Batzke's House

Former gardener's cottage at Frederiksborg Castle

Batzke's House is the small white former gardener's cottage just west of Frederiksborg Castle, built in the late 18th century for the head gardener and named after one of his long-serving successors. The building has been carefully restored and now houses a small cafe with a terrace overlooking the lake — a useful coffee stop on the walk around the castle moat.
