Áarstova occupies one of the old wooden houses just behind Tinganes and serves a small menu built around the Faroese national dish: slow-cooked lamb, the meat fall-from-the-bone tender after hours in the oven. The set menu changes by season but the lamb stays. The dining room is small, low-ceilinged, and candlelit — exactly what you want on a cold North Atlantic evening.
Reservations strongly recommended, especially in summer. Open for dinner only.
