The WeeGee Exhibition Centre occupies a converted industrial building that once housed the Weilin & Göös printing works (hence "WeeGee") in Tapiola. It now brings together several of Espoo's cultural institutions under one roof: EMMA (the Espoo Museum of Modern Art), the Espoo City Museum, and the original Futuro House prototype designed by Matti Suuronen in 1968.
The WeeGee building is the most practical place to spend a cultural half-day in Espoo: you can move between the modern art galleries, the city history exhibitions, and the UFO-shaped Futuro House without travelling between venues. The building has a café and a bookshop. It's a 5-minute walk from the Tapiola metro station.
