Korkia-Maura Ice Cave is a short cave in the Lake Inari area with a permanent layer of ice on the floor. The ice can be several metres thick, surviving through summer inside the sheltered rock chamber.
Reaching it depends on the season: by boat in summer, or over the ice in winter when conditions are safe.
