Tourujoki is a small nature reserve close to central Jyvaskyla, following the river of the same name through a green ravine. The short trail is only about 700 metres, but it gives a quick dose of water, trees, and birds without leaving town.
It is best treated as a quiet add-on to a city walk, not a destination for the whole afternoon. Pair it with Harju Park or the museums nearby if you want Jyvaskyla's compact mix of town and nature.
