The city natural history museum sits in the Jardin des Prés-Fichaux. It has the air of an older provincial museum — taxidermy galleries, fossils, minerals — with a strong section on the flora and fauna of Berry and the Sologne wetlands to the north.
Children gravitate to the reconstructed dioramas. Free admission and short, manageable galleries make it a good rainy-day option.
