Jardin du Tripot

Small public garden in a former dyeworks behind the harbour

A small, quiet courtyard garden tucked behind the houses west of the Vieux Bassin, on the site of a former medieval dyeworks (the "tripot"). Stone walls, climbing roses, herbs, and a small fountain make it a welcome refuge when the harbour is heaving with day-trippers.

Easily missed — look for the narrow archway off Rue du Puits. Free, open during daylight hours.
