The Musée de la Marine occupies the former Église Saint-Étienne, a deconsecrated 14th-century stone church on the south side of the Vieux Bassin. Inside, ship models, navigation instruments, charts, and figureheads tell the story of Honfleur as a fishing and trading port — including its long involvement in the cod fishery off Newfoundland and the early voyages of exploration to Canada and Brazil.
Compact, slightly old-fashioned, and well worth half an hour. Combined tickets are available with the next-door Musée d'Ethnographie. Closed Mondays out of season.
