Town under the Town is the former archbishop's wine cellar beneath central Eger, close to the basilica. The underground passages were once used for storing wine and can be visited on guided tours.
The appeal is the mix of cellar architecture and Eger's wine culture. It works well as a short stop while walking between the basilica, the lyceum, and the old town.
