The Duna korzó is the promenade that runs along the Danube the full length of Szentendre's old town. It is a pleasant ten-minute walk end to end, lined with willows and benches, and gives one of the only places in town with open views — across the river to Szentendre Island and back to the rooftops and church towers of the centre.
The promenade is busiest in the late afternoon, when the day-trippers from Budapest take a turn along the water before the boat back. In the evenings it empties out completely, which makes it the right place to be after the museums close.
