The city museum is the natural complement to the Domus del Chirurgo, gathering more than two thousand years of Rimini into thirty-six well-arranged galleries. Roman mosaics, early Christian sarcophagi, the Trecento Riminese painting school (Giovanni and Pietro da Rimini), and a small but worthwhile Renaissance collection.
Don't miss the Roman surgical instruments from the Surgeon's House on the ground floor — the most complete set known. Via Tonini 1. Closed Mondays.
