Broccostella is a small hill village in the Comino Valley in southern Lazio, close to the border with Campania. Set on a ridge above the valley, it has the typical character of a central Italian medieval village — stone streets, a parish church, views over the surrounding countryside. The valley below was historically important as a route between Rome and Naples and has some minor Roman remains. Broccostella itself is very quiet and sees almost no tourism; it suits those looking to experience an authentic, unhurried corner of Lazio.

Things to Do
Broccostella rewards those who want to understand the quieter side of Lazio rather than those looking for packed sightseeing schedules. The medieval village centre, the Comino Valley views, and the nearby Lago di Posta Fibreno are the main draws — none of them require more than an afternoon.
