A newer entry in Testaccio's dining scene, focused on vegetables and offal in equal measure. The carciofo alla giudia (fried whole artichoke, Jewish-Roman style) and the cicoria ripassata (sautéed chicory with garlic and chilli) are among the best versions in the neighbourhood. The pasta with offal sauces are serious. Lighter and more relaxed in atmosphere than the old institutions, which makes it a good entry point for those curious about quinto quarto but not yet ready for Checchino's formality.
