Housed in the 18th-century Grgurina Palace on the main square, the Maritime Museum tells the story of Kotor's centuries as a seafaring power under Venice, then under the Habsburgs. The collection covers navigational instruments, weapons, maps, and the portraits and documents of the great Kotor naval families — the Bronja, the Bujović, the Vraćen. It's a small museum that repays an hour's attention, particularly for anyone interested in Adriatic history. Labels are in Montenegrin and English.
