Kotor's bar scene is mostly compressed into the old town, with a few options spilling out onto the waterfront. The piazzas — particularly Trg od Oružja and Trg od Brašna — fill with cafe tables in the warmer months; the prices are touristy but the setting is unbeatable. For locals' bars, walk a little further into the lanes north of the Cathedral or out into Škaljari.
A few late venues open in summer in the streets near Trg od Drva, but Kotor's nightlife is not Budva's — most people are in bed by midnight.
